We Believe in Uplifting Lives Through Service and Awareness.
At SAMARTH, we work with dedication to bring change at the grassroots level. From health and hygiene to gender equality and education, we take action where it matters the most. We are committed to building a better society by empowering individuals, raising awareness, and creating long-term impact. Our efforts reach slums, villages, and urban areas through campaigns, workshops, and community drives. Every person, every effort, and every step counts.
Our Mission
To empower underprivileged communities through awareness, education, health, and social welfare initiatives.
Our Vision
To build an inclusive, aware, and responsible society where every individual lives with dignity and equal opportunity.
Our Initiatives
At SAMARTH, we believe in bringing real change through direct action, awareness, and community engagement. Over the years, we have started several impactful campaigns to support women, children, and underprivileged communities across urban and rural areas. Each initiative is focused on social issues that need urgent attention and long-term commitment.
Menstruating Say Loudly Campaign (“Express Your Thoughts”)
This campaign encouraged girls to speak openly about menstruation. Through workshops and street plays, SAMARTH broke the silence around periods and distributed sanitary napkins in schools and slums.
Clothes for Poor Campaign
Run in collaboration with SBI, WOW, and Smile Basket, this drive collected and distributed clean clothes to over 22,000 people in slums and rural areas. It promoted responsible donation and dignity for the needy.
Nutrition Awareness Campaign
With the help of dieticians, this campaign offered BMI checks and personalised diet charts. Health pamphlets were distributed in malls and Anganwadi centres to promote daily wellness and nutrition awareness.
Save Environment Drive (“Smriti Paudh”)
Started on Earth Day, this initiative involved tree plantation drives and street plays on environmental conservation. Despite lockdowns, over 1,000 saplings were distributed and planted in public spaces.
No to Child Labour, Yes to School Education
Launched on World Day Against Child Labour, this campaign aimed to convince slum families to prioritise education. Sessions were conducted in several slums, and many children were enrolled in school.
Sab Padhen Sab Badhen Campaign
This 30-day literacy campaign promoted education as a basic right. Conducted across 20 villages, it supported admissions and partnered with IGNOU, enrolling over 50 girls and reaching 10,000+ villagers.
Fit India Movement Campaign
Started on International Yoga Day, this campaign introduced yoga to over 500 rural girls. Guided by trained instructors, the sessions encouraged physical fitness and mental well-being in underserved areas.
Gender Sensitisation Workshops
Held in schools, colleges, and communities, these workshops taught youth the difference between sex and gender, the impact of patriarchy, and how stereotypes affect both boys and girls.
Swachh Gaon Swasth Gaon Campaign
This cleanliness drive was launched in 20 villages to raise awareness about hygiene and sanitation. Activities included rallies, poster-making, and over 40,000 pamphlet distributions on waste reduction.
Capacity Building Sessions
SAMARTH conducts regular sessions to train youth and volunteers on leadership, communication, and social responsibility. These workshops aim to build confident changemakers at the local level.
Our Core Work
At SAMARTH, our work is guided by four strong pillars that reflect our commitment to creating lasting change in society. These core values shape every initiative we take and define our approach to social development.
1. Women & Girl Empowerment
We believe in creating equal opportunities for women and girls by focusing on health, education, skill training, and livelihood. Our goal is to make them self-reliant and confident to lead a better life.
2. Research & Evidence-Based Interventions
Our actions are driven by data and research. We partner with reputed national and international organisations to conduct studies that help us design practical and impactful solutions.
3. Health & Social Welfare
We work to improve public health by addressing cancer care, food insecurity, and the needs of vulnerable communities. We also focus on social inclusion for persons with disabilities and other marginalised groups.
4. Capacity Building & Community Development
We strengthen local systems by training youth, families, and communities. Our capacity-building programmes aim to create long-term sustainability and grassroots leadership.
Impact We Have Made
At SAMARTH, our work speaks through the lives we touch and the communities we strengthen. With a presence across Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh, we have implemented programs and interventions that promote dignity, self-reliance, and equal opportunities for all.
